I am a nature loving, seeker of peace, with a curious mind, which inevitably led me to the path of yoga.
My previous work was teaching in Further Education and my desire to follow my heart in teaching from a person centred approach, was challenged in the structured system of todays education. My body and mind was stressed and I found peace and healing in yoga which led me to take a leap of faith and pursue my love of yoga.
Changing my outlook from busy and stressed to calmness, going with the flow, slowing down, learning to pause and breath.... From my experience , I wish to share the joy and peace that Yoga has given me.
I enjoy the natural environment, and prefer fresh outdoor energy to practice, stretching and breathing , listening to the sounds of nature and teach in beautiful outdoor locations during Spring , Summer and early Autumn.
I am blessed to have three children and wish to help other expectant mothers during the precious time of pregnancy and postnatal. Pregnancy is a precious time in a woman's life , also daunting and fearful. Pregnancy yoga practice helps to alleviate fears and stresses during this special time and enjoy the transformative journey to motherhood.
